One Response to “I saw a video and a guy was dumping EVERYTHING off of a iPhone. Even the Kernel and BIOS! I dont know how he did it, but then he ported D@mn Small Linux onto it off of a Windows Vista computer. It ran Open Office and all this stuff. IT WAS RUNNING LINUX! Really! IT WAS AMAZING! It wasnt a application or anything it was a real computer running real linux! Somehow, in this porting process, he created something in D@mn Small Linux which allowed him to use the bottom port on the iPhone, through a home-made converter, as a USB port! he then hooked the iPhone up to a Linux Laptop (Debian) and the thing popped up as External Hard Drive. He used it like a real computer. He put a open office document on it and edited it! The video was like an hour long. I watched it in parts for a week. If I knew how this guy did it, I would try it. I dont know if it could still be used as a phone or not? I looked for the video for an hour but it was on a Linux website. It couldnt find it though!”
